That is without a shadow of a doubt the best piece of writing that I have ever read on being a single parent.

Just wanted to say really well written, I enjoyed reading your post!! You sound really lovely. It sounds like other people who are judging are VERY jealous. I think its great you enjoy having fun & look after yourself. I've heard so many people say when you have kids everything stops, but I think its important to keep doing things to be happy & that make yourself feel good. And I'm sure kids prefer a mum who's happy!! When we have kids I'm intending on still doing much of the things I enjoy like getting my hair/nails done, eating good food, etc, etc.

Awesome post!! I'm really glad you are doing so well being a single mum, it's a hard road!!
I think there are experiences out there that cannot be truly understood until you are in the thick of it, thus the irritating ignorant comments, but you've done a great job expressing what it's like.
So you're not even a TINY bit tempted to post it on your FB?? (I would be!!)
You could always say it's something you 'found' on the net, to distance it from you slightly, if that would help people 'get it' rather than jumping down your throat...
All the best with the future...

I sat through it just nodding away in complete agreeance with you.
It is great to hear a person living and enjoying life. Most of all a independant women that needs no man to be happy.
Wish some of my single mummy friends could enjoy life and not be so reliant on a male to be happy like yourself.
