We visited Cafe Myriade aka the Board Game Cafe in the nice part of Northbridge yesterday afternoon and spent a fun hour playing Operation and Mousetrap (remember those??) with Miss 4. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming (although I did have to explain what a babycino was!). You pay an hourly or 2-hourly rate to play the games - there must be at least 100 of them! - and can order drinks, snacks and desserts from their cafe counter. I can see many a rainy afternoon spent here this winter - http://www.cafemyriade.com.au/index.php
Cafe Myriade - Our Café
Cafe Myriade provides a variety range of delicious dessert, as well as freshly roasted coffee, and huge range of board games to play with. We are also the first Board Game cafe in Perth.
