I dont think this calculator shows how this tax will affect us , and it says our normal weekly spending will only go up by $9.90?

I know we will lose money but we are happy to do so for such an important thing. We all need to think a lot more long term about the future of the planet, and most low income people will not be negatively impacted, despite the Herald Sun's propaganda.

I genuinely don't understand how people expect the Government to do nothing in this area and for it to cost nothing...

It will make me pay today for some of the damage I contribute too and it will help to ensure I pass a cleaner world onto my kids and grand kids.

Seems we will also be worse off. Which I sort of guessed it would anyway. Not very happy about this tax at all
