Default Lonely outer east Melbourne looking for friends

Hi I'm 27 and have a 15month old daughter we live in outer eastern Melbourne. Just looking for some real people to become good friends with. Stay at home mum, I like all music, comedies, rom-com, action, thriller and some horror movies! I like to read, chit-chat, coffee, a drink and a laugh, going out for dinner. I'm pretty down to earth but love the get up and go lifestyle of the city too if you're interested please feel free to reply or email me keepleft@live.com

    Hi Jaimee,

There are a few of us around in Knox and surrounds. We are actually way over due for a catchup. I'll consult my calendar and put a thread up in the Knox section.

I emailed you! Bellalika was one of the mums I mentioned.

Thanks guys I already feel more loved since I fell pregnant my friends started dropping off and after giving birth 15months ago they have all just vanished. The only people I have close to me is my partner and my mum and dad, 2 sisters and big brother whom I love dearly but I need more than just family.

I know exactly what you mean. I lost all my friends (bar a few who I hardly see anyway) after having kids.
I have made some great mummy friends though. It gets easier as they get older because you meet other mums (and dads) at play groups, kinder etc.

It's just not fair sometimes! I had friends who were best friends for 10+ years and just because they don't like your new lifestyle, disappear.
It's been a tough 15 months for me adjusting to this new life and caring for a baby 24/7, BIG change! I sometimes find myself feeling so alone and utterly useless I just burst into tears and have no one to talk to, there's things you don't tell family, my partner works alot of the time and I don't really see him much either. It's just me, my girl and a 2yr old Labrador.
