    How confusing for a child to be taught in one breath that the world is only 12,000 years old and then in another breath that it is billions of years old.

    my sons christian school teaches evolution in science and creation as a bible story.

    How do you get that they are taught the world is only 12,000 years old from what is said here?

    No, absolutely not.

    I read some alarming stats recently regarding the percentage of U.S. politicians who reject evolution. It was really astonishing.
