Definately not elleandsam, I know you use it (and a few others) but I've never felt like you've pushed it. Although I still want one!! I have 0 appliances and I'm building a new house so it's going to come in handy in my new kitchen, but it'll be a splurge in my mind, not a neccesity

If you have no appliances it will probably save a bit in the long-run. My brother and his gf moved into the gf's gp's home where they have everything, so they have not bothered to buy anything other than a homebrew beer kit (lol) so I told them to look at buying one for when they move out. They can store it without taking up too much space when the gp's are there over Christmas, and have plenty of time to save for one.

Elleandsam, I have not seen the forums so have not seen the cult-factor, but the way these few on fb were pushing it was worse than any religion extremist I have had contact with :/

LOL! I own a thermomix and still eat junk food! I dont think one necessarily excludes the other as you pointed out

I hate FB for many many many other reasons. I resigned from it over a year a go and do not miss it in the slightest!!

Naw here I was thinking it was a magical machine that could abracadabra remove the junkiness from the cookie dough and cakes that I would use it for!
