Anyone who have a Fibroadenoma in their body?
I do, i have a couple of breast fibroma in my left breast, and i have it checked every year, but this time it has ruined my chances to breastfeed my bub, and it gets more and more painful.
I booked the doctor AGAIN, i'll go through checks AGAIN, but i have had enough of pain, it keeps moving around to the point that i can't lift anything with my left arm. It's not cancer, it's benign that's what the doctors and all my researches conclude.
Does anyone have the same condition or had it removed??

Hi, I had two in my breast and had them removed when I was about 26. It was some time after that, around 10 years later that I had my first baby and breastfeed without any problems, in fact the breast that I had them in was the one that worked the best.. I am glad I got them out.

Thanks possy! Really appreciate that you share your story!
Can you tell a little bit more about the surgery? Did you request it to your doctor? How did you recover from the surgery? How big was your fibro?

I had one in my right breast removed last year in February. Was a simple day surgery. I went in early morning and was home by mid afternoon. Cant remember exactly how long the theater time was, but it was under an hour. Was more tender than painful and it was only slightly uncomfortable. To remove mine they cut a semi-circle around my nipple and got it out through there. I was terrified of what kind of scar it would leave, but you cant even notice it now. Mine was roughly 2cmX3cm and I have small breasts so it was noticeable when I was naked. Im sooo glad I finally bit the bullet and had it removed. It was such a simple, quick and painless procedure and I feel much better now I dont have a noticeable lump in my breast.
Hope that helps.
