My husband is 4 years younger than me. When we met he was 18 and I was 22. I don't see myself as a cougar- 4 years isn't that much of a difference!

I'm almost 34 and DF just turned 27. We've been together for 3 years. I used to have a hang up about it because 30 and 23 just sounds shocking but I'm over it now lol
He gets pretty annoyed when I refer to him as my toy boy though lol

DH is 5 years younger than me - most people don't pick the age difference though. It's never been a big deal to me but I did know there was a good chance I'd end up with someone younger.

XH was almost the same age as me and he could never keep up with my energy. After we split I had a fling with what I'll call a toy-boy 9 years younger - he was very sheltered though so the maturity difference was very noticeable. But I liked his energy and from then on kept myself very open to dating someone younger.

After all they do say "You're only as old as who you feel"

Ha ha yep!!! My soon to be husband is 9 years younger than me.

I was 30 and he was 21 when we got together, I was in the middle of a divorce and a single mum of 4. He is now 27 and I'm 36 and we've had 2 more children together.

Sometimes you can tell that he's still quite young....although not as much anymore but earlier you could. But he was also very mature for his age and had lived a lot too.

6 years later we're getting married so it must be working out LOL
