I just realized how nosy I am. If I hear a neighbour arguing or if I were to see my neighbour telling off their gardener, my windows and doors would be open just so I can hear them lol

Personally i think all of the above are more offensive than, "none of your business" The above statements read condescending to me.

(ps, not having a go oj, also not singling you out, just using your comment in general)

It really depends on the tone of voice and context in which it is said. It can be very rude and condescending though. I didn't see the other thread so I can't comment on that.

I don't know who mentioned it, but I do think correcting grammar in a conversation is very rude, unless you're someone's teacher it's not on!

I don't think the context you used it in in the other thread was rude at all.

Depends on the situation and tone you use I think, I do say it and I'm sure at times I've said it harshly. I get annoyed easily though at people sticking their noses into my own business.

Depends on the context. I use it all the time, if I'm talking to DP and a little brother asks what we're talking about I'll say it's none of your beeswax, bro.

If I ask DP what she's cooking for dinner and she says none of your business I take that to mean it's a surprise.

If I ask DP where she's going out one night and she says it's none of your business, then I'd be annoyed. But not because of the phrase, because of the secrecy.
