I have a whopper of a toothache to deal with till my dentist appointment next Tuesday!

Mersyndol Night Strength they are behind the counter but you do not need a script. They can make you very drowsy though but they work well for severe pain.

Panadeine extra has 15mg of codeine i'm pretty sure.

An anti inflammatory might also help in conjunction with pain relief. I used that combo after a root canal. Was the only thing that worked.

Nurofen for toothache is the best, the others mask tooth pain (so you'll
still feel it throbbing) as an anti inflammatory nurofen will treat it and it will disappear for a while.

Nurofen was the only thing that helped me when I had an aching tooth (had my root canal last Friday). I hear Clove Oil when applied topically can help a bit too.

Fiorinal Dental tablets. They're kept behind the counter but you don't need a prescription.
