I have read that if you are all belly and don't have much morning sickness your having a boy. (this was me during both pregnancies, didn't put any weight on anywhere but my belly and had no morning sickness and had boys) and if you carry fluid and gain weight on the legs and bum mainly and have pigmentation and severe morning sickness your having a girl (apparently girls suck all the mothers beauty. Who knows if there's any truth to it!

I was all belly and no fluid retention and had a girl. Didn't even get boobs much to my consternation.

Yep yep yep! With DS I had people asking me if I was wearing padded undies, because I developed a 'ledge ***' a j-lo bum, a Kim kardashian size patooty... And looks like it's happening again (also 10 weeks )

I was all belly with DD. this time I'm growing outwards (hips) - not or lack of exercise related. Definitely more pear shaped already and only 12 weeks. This time loads of pimples and really really sore boobs. I had beautiful skin with my daughter!! I felt much more attractive during my first preg and it was a girl! Will wait to see what this pregnancy brings!!

I believe the science behind that is that women put weigh on in various areas like bums, boobs, hips, thighs during pregnancy so that when the baby is born and you start to breastfeed you have extra fat stores/energy you can rely on to keep bubba healthy. Obviously most of our babys aren't born to Mothers who are in the middle of a famine, but if they were, it's a bit of an insurance policy.

    Lol that's funny button sorry.

I don't know how of why it's happened. I agree with weight gain being an insurance policy though.

I also had a flat bum & gained am awesome rounded bum during pregnancy! Love love loved it.
