rubbing your hands really well on your stainless steel sink gets rid of onion odour on your hands.
Also, a small amount of hemaroid cream up your nose helps stop a nose bleed. ( a fresh unused tube might smell better)
WD40 sprayed on fishing gear is meant to attract fish (dont know if this one works but apparantly it is made from fish oil)
When I think of some more i will post again

Ok this is gross but I swear it works..
When you have sores in the corner of your mouth (not cold sores), rub ear wax on them and it helps it heal.
I know, gross

Cloves (the crushed ones you get from the spice section in the supermarket) gets rid of ants. They hate the smell.
Once I had a whole ants nest living in my clock radio (!!!) - I sprinkled cloves around it and they packed up and moved out in half an hour.

Rubbing cooking salt on your hands also helps to remove that garlic smell.
Sprinkling sand over rice mess on your hard floor makes it so easy to sweep up.
Baby powder (or cornflour) sprinkled over sandy areas on a child will make it easy to brush off.

To remove a sticky label from literally anything. Blow your hairdryer on it on high for a minute or so and it'll peel straight off. Leaves no sticky mess
Another one to stop ants from coming in. Pour baby talcum powder along the bottom of the door.

Take a bottle of Talcum Powder to the beach. When you want to get the sand off your hands/feet/body parts just rub talcum powder on and the sand comes straight off. I keep a bottle in my car.
