    Default Discipline Methods ~ what's yours??

    So as the title says, what are the discilpine methods used in your family and what are the reasonings behind the method??

    Mostly one warning then timeout. We do yell occasionally, and smack too... But mostly it's timeout for the 5 year old.

    With the 18 month old we use the good old 'planned ignoring' when he's being a sh*t!!

    My kids are pretty good! If they really push me, I send them to bed early or they lose privileges like TV, or computer time. We have ps3 but that works on a time earned system .. DS gets the same amount of time on that as he puts into his homework They are 11 and 12 though.
