Default BFing and Lite and Easy...ok?

    hi

i plan on Bfing again (hopefully without the chronic thrush i got last time ) but this time really want to eat healthier and start my weight loss regime about 4-6 weeks after baby arrives as i have a lot of weight to lose and its really important to me that i get fit and healthy....i was just wondering has anyone done Lite and Easy while BFing (where they deliver the meals to your house)....i was thinking of doing this as a way to not have to worry about healthy food prep with a newborn (hence may be more likely to be successful as when tired i dont think twice about just ordering takeway etc) maybe just the lunch and dinners and eat my own breakfast of porridge (oats for good supply etc) ......anyone done it and been good or bad? will the 1800 calorie per day amount (the highest one they have) affect supply? would i have to drink say an extra glass of skim milk or something on top of it?

    thanks

I actually had to call them yesterday and there is a recorded message about the possibility of it not being suitable for breastfeeding mothers (among other things). They said to check first with a health care professional.

I'm currently doing it. More so for convenience cause DD doesn't allow for much alone time yet.

I know they advise to check with your doctor but lite & easy is healthier than what I was eating (I'm terrible lol) so I can't see it being bad. Plus I'm really slack on veggies without it.

I've had no supply issues. I do the 1200 calorie one and have the odd cheese stick if I'm still hungry.

I think if you wait til your supply is established you'l be ok. But this is just my opinion. Some days I eat only one meal because I'm exhausted and my milk has been fine. Wouldn't recomend it though!
You'll know if your milk supply is waning.

Baby wearing, co-sleeping, booby feeding mummy to one

ETA I meant wouldn't recomend eating like me lol
