We move out of our rental in 2 weeks and I'm having trouble with a "removable" wall sticker.
I've peeled a corner up and its peeled the paint off with it.
It's just one of those vinyl ones from typo.
I've left it on for now and I'm hoping someone can give me some tips on how to remove it without peeling a big owl shaped section of paint off!

Can you try a bit of steam?

Steam could work, if only I could figure out how to get it there!

Boil the kettle and bring it over?

Eucalyptus oil could work, but you might damage your wall sticker.
It can also dissolve paint though, so do a test patch first.
If the paint is good quality though, and isnt affected by it, eucalyptus oil is amazing for removing stubborn things from walls.

apparently if you use a hair dryer to add a little bit of heat they come off alot easier and dont bring the paint with them

Uh oh, I'm worried about the ones we have up now :/ I did them over two years ago so memory is a bit sketchy but do they say to hold a warm wet washer over the stickers before peeling or something?

Hair drier. Mine near the window where the sun shines on them peel off themselves.

I did think some kind of heat might be an idea but I was worried it might melt the vinyl. Guess not.
I do have some eucalyptus oil so if the hairdryer or steam (I can't believe I couldn't think how to get the steam to the sticker.. duh) don't work I'll give that a go.
Would that also work for the marks on the walls? I have one of those wall eraser things but I'm thinking mopping the walls would be far less time consuming - could I perhaps dilute some for that job?
