I haven't ever smacked another child.

I'm not anti-smacking but I don't really think it's that good of a technique anyway so don't really use it. I wouldn't use it on another child even if I thought it was a fantastic technique, as their parents may not be happy with it.

No and no, and if anyone smacked my child that would be the last time I would have anything to do with them.

I wouldn't smack anybody's child and if somebody were to smack my child, I'd lose it.

Have this issue with my step-grandfather. He thinks whilst he is watching my kids that he can punish how he wants. We caught him saying "if you do that ****, I'll smack you".
If he EVER hits my kids I will charge him.

I would not smack anyone else's child. We do not plan to use smacking as a form of discipline for our own child either. I would go ballistic if anyone else ever smacked DS.

I babysat 3 young boys regularly when I was about 16, and I'll never forget the Mum telling me "you can smack them if you want"! They were so naughty, but there was no way I would have ever laid a finger on those kids. WRONG!

We smack, not often but i dont have a problem with family doing it, as they know how we discipline and i trust them to do it as we would.

The repercussions can be big - watch The Slap.

    No smacking any children here.
