It's not dairy but does contain lactose. Even so, my DS was lactose intollerant and I breasfed him for 11 months. The amount of lactose is minimal.

When DS was hospitalized with gastro the doctors told me to not give him dairy (as in cows milk, cheese etc) but it was highly important that I continue breastfeeding.

Usually when babies are sick, they encourage you to keep breastfeeding... especially as they can get dehyrdated easily if they're throwing it up/pooing it out quickly.
I think dairy is reserved products containing cow milk... not so much human milk.
