DS is just over 3 months and I'm finally enjoying feeding him, and thrilled to still be going after such a rocky start (Mastitis, blockages, cracked nipples etc!) and after not being able to direct feed DD.
My first goal of 6 months is very much in sight now, and I've also managed to donate 7L of milk to the KEMH milk bank and another 3L over a milk sharing page!

That's great GM01! I found the first 3 months the worst and at around the same time started to finally enjoy it.

This is a very sad post for me
My dearest DS2 decided he didn't want to breastfeed anymore a few weeks ago. He's just turned 16 months.
I went away for 1.5 weeks and I didn't realise my last breastfeed on the 5th May would literally be my last 😥 I didn't get to enjoy it or savour the moment because we were in a rush to get to the airport
When I saw him again I offered him the breast and he screamed he flat out refused for days after and was getting so distressed that I gave up.
This is one of the last photos I ever took of us feeding, I was a few weeks prior.
I'm still trying hard to express eImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1433713610.008055.jpgvery day for one feed before bed but I'm not getting much 30-40ml if I'm lucky 😪😪

@SAgirl Hugs. I know how you feel - my DD gave up breastfeeding suddenly at the same age after I had gastro and my supply dropped. I was so sad too. It got easier over time but I still get a little sad that it was so unexpected and I didn't have a chance to prepare myself.
