Just this weekend we have fed at the beach, a restaurant, in the pool, walking around the markets. I don't know if we could have been afforded such luxuries if there wasn't milk on tap.

Definitely agree!! I was able to get all the Christmas shopping down just as quickly as before Hudson was born over the weekend cause I could just walk around while feeding him, so much easier!
I love the bond it has given us too and am secretly happy its something no one else will ever be able to have with him and one thing I don't have to share

Lol. Baby hogging is the best. I love putting Poppy in the sling. Now that she likes to look around and see the world she doesn't snuggle into my chest anymore. So I put her in the sling and its the next best thing. Squishy baby cuddles that are all mine!

Well done for reaching your goals ladies!
I've now almost reached four months fully BF and my goal is six months. But my view about how likely this is has changed since I discovered she won't take a bottle! Tried EBM and won't take it! So I now feel more confident we'll still be doing this in several months time. But rather more worried what to do if for some other reason eg illness,I can't feed her! Pretty sure she won't wanna stop anytime soon though

It was funny, I was loving bf and everything about it but once I figured out we had no other option, it got totally draining. Getting better since he's dropped back to 3 feeds during the day.
Big hugs I know the feeling of not being able to have a break is rough.

Thanks. It just feels like more responsibility now. Before, even though I didn't want to give her a bottle, at least i thought it was an option if I was overwhelmed and it got too much. Now I know she won't take one, well, I HAVE to BF. Kinda changes things emotionally. Planning to go out with a friend on Saturday and gotta be back within three hours! Will be really stressed I think.

But also. I wasn't warming the milk enough. I was so worried about overheating it. Once I started to leave it in the warm water for a bit longer she guzzles it down.
You might find that if u aren't there and bubs is hungry.. The bottle of EBM might seem like a better choice.
Also you could try a different teat. The difference in sucking is confusing for some bubs.
