Thanks mwl I'm working Mon, wed, Fri so I'm not ready to give up breastfeeding yet! Dd will end up being mixed fed on the days I'm at work because I can't pump enough, I'm mostly just doing it to keep my supply up

I will probably end up having to do the same when I go back to work. I'm comfortable feeding in public etc but not sure about expressing at work. Is your work pretty accommodating?

Yeah I express in the parents room lol I work for a small law firm and the office is at a shopping centre so I just find it easier to go to the parents room to pump. I have a unimom allegra double so I don't need to plug it in to pump. My boss is really great, especially considering ive just started there. I pump 4 times a day between 8:30 and 5. I try to pump first thing at 8:30, then once mid morning, once at lunch and once mid afternoon. Whilst I'm not getting enough to feed dd solely breast milk I haven't noticed a drop in my supply at all. When will you br going back?

I do mon, wed and fri too. I love your bra - my boobs sag too much for it to work on me. I use the first aid room to express or I go and sit in my car at the park at lunch. I have been known to express in the work car with someone else driving- our work ex kids get a pretty good education when they come with us.

Amy could you try it with a more supportive bra? I love that you pump in the car lol I'd pump on the bus to work if it was more discreet haha

Even with a really supportive bra my boobs end up with creases or pointy down nipples unfortunately I now have 2 footy socks with a bit of wet sandin the end where my nice perky boobs used to be.

That's very handy to be so close to the parents rooms! I have till February but I'm hoping to go back pt or maybe work from home if I can negotiate it. I would love to bf at least until 6mths and then see where we are at.

My goal was initially 6 months too. I'm pretty sure I've got enough freezer supply to get me through the next couple of weeks til she's 6 months then after that on my work days it will probably be 2 breastmilk feeds and 2 formula feeds while I'm at work.
I hope your work is accommodating with going back part time or working from home. Im.finding part time is working really well.
