Default Thinking of trying for #2 when DS is 1&1/2

Is this enough time between for body to recover? I had an EC with DS. Will be 35 this yr so nervous about waiting any longer...

I'm not too sure personally, but my sisters both had c-sections (one ec) and both fell pregnant again when their babies were 1yr. They were fine physically, both in their mid-thirties

They did need to have c-sections again, but for other reasons.

I fell pregnant 10 months after my 2nd c section. Physically it is rarely a problem in todays times because of the new, more gentle method they use. And they would have told you after your last c section if there was a problem with your scaring.

Thanks guys just a few people had told me I shouldn't try earlier than 2 yrs after last birth..but I don't want to wait and miss out, even though I know that many women conceive in their late 30's I'd rather not take the chance...

It depends on how you want to give birth. For a vbac - yes, it is recommended to have 2 years inbetween.

Due to a narrow opening to my pelvis that caused my DS to get stuck, I've been advised that CS is the only option unless bubs is very very early..that's why wasn't sure about whether there needs to be a certain gap....
