Omg, that post just turned me into a blubbering mess. My heart goes out to you, your mum and your family. I couldn't imagine how it feels, but I am so happy you found her. I'm sure she knows she always had her family, but finally you can be where she is so you know she knows for sure. xoxoxo

I think that'll be a lovely thing for your mother to be able to do.
My mother had a stillbirth before me, and she never even saw him... she didn't want to at the time, but regrets that so much now... and has no idea where he's buried either. I think it would do her a lot of good if she had a chance to find his grave and say her goodbyes properly.
I hope that it provides some sense of comfort for your mother to know where her baby was buried.

my sympathy to you and your mum. It is so sad to hear how things were handled in those days. A bit of the old 'toughen up and get on with it", seems so very harsh now. You are doing a great service for your mum, it is important to share the sadness of the Goodbyes. hugs Marie.

Your mother is such a strong brave women. It's sad that they used to do this to women and never gave them a chance to say a proper goodbye.
to you all. Your mother is so blessed to have you there to help find the baby she never got to meet and say goodbye to.
