Haha, RmumR, i would hate that too. I always wash when we're away. We always go to the gold coast or byron for 2 weeks every year and we don't own enough clothes each to get through a fortnight without washing! ! By the time we all hve 1 outfit a day each, plus swimmers / towel and then good clothes to wear out for dinner id have to a trailer full of clothes!!

Depends where we go. A self-contained apartment, sure! I even took cloth nappies when we stayed at my mums in Dubai
But when we went to Phuket and Bali, where it's really cheap to have clothes washed/ironed/folded, I not only had washing done midway through the holiday, I had more done the day before we came home so I didn't have much to do when unpacking
