ChristianMummy - I try to always remain respectful to others beliefs, so I'll just say it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Atheists nor pro choicers believe unborn babies are fish or monkeys in the womb There are similarities but they are different.

I kind of didn't know where to start to debunking that site there were so many falsehoods and 'fauds' in information, which I actually found ironic, so I won't
    bother as I'll probably offend

    http://richarddawkins.net/articles/6...hristian-dogma

Interesting article by a former Protestant minister on how gaining an understanding of the theory of evolution led to him abandoning his faith. Amongst other things, he notes that:

If there is no original ancestor who transmitted hereditary sin to the whole species, then there is no Fall, no need for redemption, and Jesus’ death as a sacrifice efficacious for the salvation of humanity is pointless. The whole raison d’etre for the Christian plan of salvation disappears.
Now I'm aware that there are Christians out there who would disagree with this man, for a variety of reasons, however it was interesting to read about the 'conversion' experience of a former church leader (because of science), rather than a 'died in the wool' atheist.

Interesting thing is you can find examples of people of no faith going down the road of faith and vice verse - we all go down our roads of discovery (either towards faith or away from faith). Each person's journey is different.
