Make whatever you want! I would its up to the parents to patrol what their kids are eating. I always bake cupcakes for my daughters get togethers and I pull out all the stops - buttery cupcakes, chocolate fudge icing, lollie decorations, edible glitter
Don't conform to what 'they' do or want, just be yourself and contribute whatever makes you happy

Totally agree.... anyway, even if you brought whatever it is to try to make this woman happy, she'll still probably be a b*tch at the end of the day. Who cares.... be yourself, take what you want, if she doesn't like it, then tough titties to her. Don't change yourself for anybody!!

So this is what I made:
Out of 15 mums & 2 dads, only 3 of us made the effort to bring something. And the other two mums brought a pack of hot cross buns & some cut up fruit.
So realisticlly I was the only one to actually make a decent effort.
The mum who doesnt like me says "Oh I was going to make something, but feeding my family keeps me busy enough!"
And another one says "oh my husband wouldnt let me, he said if im going to bake treats they have to be for him" Are they for real???
It was for the kids! Another mum says "your treats are too sweet for me, and my son said your quiches taste funny"
I came home feeling angry! Oh so angry & so perplexed that people can be so damn rude!!!!
Why did I even bother.
