My 16 week old son has multiprotein intolerance. He was exclusively breastfed until a few days ago. We started Neocate a couple of days ago. yesterday he voluntarily refused to drink breastmilk and wanted to only drink Neocate. I was really happy and he woke up a different child.
Today he flatly refuses to drink more than about 60 ml and I have been topping him up at the breast. He has been vomitting all over the place and last night he seemed to have painful reflux and woke up crying three times.
I was wondering whether anyone had experienced this and whether we should try and ride it out or switch to Elecare. If he can't take this, I am not sure what else to do as I have only been eating rice, lamb and pears for weeks now and I can't cut those out.
