How long ago was your c sec? Mine was 4 weeks ago, and dtd is the last thing on my mind right now!!!

I'd imagine it's the same reason you can't drive, lift things etc -- to allow your body, muscles etc time to properly recover from the operation...

Maybe pressure on your healing csec area? Bleeding? Allowing your uterus/cervix time to repair?

Do u want to?! There's no way I felt like it 6 weeks later not to mention lack of sleep etc. Kudos to u though if u want to maybe if u are worried check with GP?

One theory is the like you to wait until you have had you 6 wk check up to make sure everything is ok down there and birth control is sorted out

its not so much to do with sex, i just want to be intimate with him... finally be able to do it the way we did before being pregnant, "the normal way" him cuddling me while on top and stuff. (i hope im making sense. sorry bout tmi)

I waited 3 weeks after my c-section (we used condoms for birth control because I wasn't on anything yet) and was fine.

I think so long as you feel up to it then why not!

I think a lot of Doctors agree now that it's fine to do it whenever you feel ready

I waited until about 5 weeks after my Caesar. I kind of wanted to do it sooner but I was still bleeding a lot.

It's just a guide - if you feel ready sooner, then go for it
