Hi everyone. Not sure if this has been posted before but I'm curious to know when people felt their baby move? I'm 17 + 4 today and haven't felt anything yet that I know of - first baby so not sure what it feels like, I have heard its like bubbles. Anyway I was in hospital last week and the midwife said I should've felt little flutters by now... ?

When Did You First Feel Movement?

With both of my babies I didn't feel anything until about 20 weeks, but I also had an anterior placenta so even then it wasn't big movements until a lot later.
I guess it sort of feels like you have gas :embarrassed: but I always found it hard to tell personally

I've felt like that... But it always turns out to be actual gas! Lol.

Everyone is different. I think I could feel her by about 16-17 weeks. It depends on how much belly fat you have and where the placenta is located. Probably whether you have "popped" as well. They usually say 16-20 weeks I think.
I think when I finally figured out her movements, I realised that I had been feeling it for a few weeks without knowing it

19 weeks with first, 15 weeks with this one. Im sure you will feel something soon, mine felt like tiny muscle twitches.

I'm about the same weeks as you and haven't felt anything yet. At the dr yesterday he said it would be very unusual to have felt movement already, especially for a first baby. So I don't think you need to worry about what the midwife said I understand your impatience though, I'm hanging out for it!

19 + 3 weeks when I felt bubs move. I think I may have felt flutters a week prior to that but wasn't 100% sure. When I felt bubs move at 19 + 3 it felt like someone poked me quite firmly. It shocked me how noticeable it was!
