Default What type of night light can you recommend

DS is 1 and he is starting to wake a lot in the night so I am trying to eliminate all possibilities at the moment, he's room is very dark and so I thought I'd try a night light.

I'm looking into Lava lamps or projector type lights that put stars or similar on the roof.

What do you have? What would you recommend?

We have a lava lamp in DD room but I don't like leaving it on all night, we also have one of those changing colour egg night lights ( it's a smash brand) that recharges during the day, she either takes it to bed or leaves it on the bedside table, I got it at Woolworths supermarket.

My son loves his dinosaur shaped colour changing night light it charges in the day then he has it in his bed (he is 3 tho). We got it from Woolies for $20 but then I found them at Big W for $15 so got one for my mums house too

My children all have turtle night
Lights that project stars onto their roof. They can choose either blue, green or orange, they project six different REAL constellations so educational and it makes their room look magical. And they were cheap. About $30

A friend already has a my light and I am going to get one too when we pick a name. Have a look at mylight.com.au you can choose colours and the light is made in a box which displays bubs name. I think they are a great idea.

we have a nightlight in the spare room for when my dad visits we are in the country and its super dark and he can't sleep.

its just a flat sqaure green light that plugs into wall - I think it has a little smiley face on it. It isn't super bright but enough to see the outlines of objects and now where you are.

It costs 20cents a yr to run when left on 24-7.

We had one of those. They are great but we just leave toilet light on. I cant sleep if its fully dark so i find comfort in having the toilet light on.
