Default How much weight did you gain whilst pregnant?

A friend of mine has lost 26kgs within 6mths of having her 3rd baby. What a great effort? I was bewildered when she said she gained 26kgs during all 3 pregnancies. She is naturally quite petite and really didn't look like she was carrying that much weight so I was quite bewildered. She said her body retains fluid. How much weight did you gain and was it in particular areas?

I gained 8kgs during both pregnancies and was all belly with both. I left hospital wearing my jeans and was back to pre baby weight within a few months.

I gained in excess of 20kgs (I don't know the number, it was giving me depression so I stopped weighing myself)

I went from a size 8/10 top to a size 12/14, I still have 6kg to lose to get to pre preg, but I'd like to lose another 8kg as well.

    For me it was legs!

I gained 25kg with my son between weeks 18 (whe ms ended) and birth (at 40+11). 10kg was baby, fluid etc as it came off immediately, 15kg was chocolate.

I'm almost 17 weeks and am struggling not to put on the same weight this time.

With DD1 I gained about 5kgs (not including baby, placenta and fluid). With DD2 I lost about 5kgs (went into the pregnancy at 64kg and came out 59kg).

I put on about 25-30kg both times. My daughter was over 4kg and most of the weight came off in about 3 months, but that's because I was going to the gym and walking up until 35 weeks. With my son, it took a lot longer to come off and I bf but I did not exercise much during that pregnancy. My son was almost 5kg so I lost a fair bit of weight straight away.

I don't gain a lot (between 8-10kgs) and lose it all pretty quickly with not much effort, just breastfeeding.
My sister put on about 30kgs with her twins, but lost 23 of that before she left hospital. She had ridiculous swelling. But she looked like she had gained that much.

I'm very petite and pre pregnacy was a size 6 to 8. With DD I was underweight before I fell pregnant and gained 12kgs but had her at 37 weeks.

This pregnancy I was a healthy weight before I fell pregnant and have put on 16kg so far. I'm 41 weeks today. Most of it is belly and thighs.

I gained 14kg, and lost 9kg with the birth. The last 5kg took about 6 months or so to lose, but I wasn't trying very hard

It was mostly belly, but looking back at photos I think I put a bit on all over. I looked a bit puffy right at the end of it all!

I put on 30kg with DD and about 11kg with DS. I only lost 12kg before I fell pregnant with DS. Now I have 22kg to lose. I'm starting Bodytrim after Easter.

I put on 17kg but lost 13kg in the first week due to baby and fluid. Then lost another 2 and am still up 2kg. I just ate normally and walked when I could but it was painful towards the end. It's now, that I want to eat chocolate cause I'm tired!
