    Default Baby and infant massage.

    Hi guys.

Just wanted to know your thoughts on baby/ infant massage..
I'm a chiropractor and was hoping to introduce baby/infant massage lesson for those busy mums at our clinic. We offer pregnant massage which is always in high demand.
If offered at any clinic near you would it be something that interest new mums? Ofcourse I would try and organize it so it's free for mums (don't want to add to any financial stress). It would be a lesson that is maybe provided every month.

Would love any feedback from anyone about your experience on baby/ infant massage and if they would recommend it.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi HealthyBee,

I think this is a great idea. This is something that i know I will be interested in once I become pregnant. I've heard great things from other friends who've done this & they say that bub has become more relaxed & even sleeps better.

I'm sure heaps of people will be interested in it too

I'd be super keen. I really wanted to do a course but they were $100 + and out of our price range at the time

I'd love to do a course but the only ones I've found are very expensive.

    Thanks for your feedback guys!
If I can just ask one last question.. If i am unable to offer it free for clients would $50-60 for a 1.5 hours session too much? And please be honest so
I know if I should keep looking around.

    Thanks

I'd say that would probably put most people off. the courses i've seen offer a number of sessions and if your bub was unsettled for that one session it would be a total write off

I would definitely be interested in something like that and Plan to find some one who does infant massage in my area, however I think $50-60 for one session is excessive. I'd pay $120 for a course, but having not looked into it yet I dont even know if that's a realistic expectation lol

To be honest I personally wouldn't pay that much. Mostly because my local council runs baby massage classes for free.

Thanks for the honest opinions. I do agree that if bubs is unsettled then the lesson may seem to be a write off. I guess I keep searching...still aiming for something that is free. Will keep you guys posted if I find anything.
I'm located in Brisbane for anyone is interested if I do find something suitable.

    Fingers crossed !
