Just thought I'd pop in and let you know how things went. It can all be summed up in one word, fast. Established labour started at 10am with contractions 4 minutes apart. They ok'ed the epi and the anesthetist was walking down the hallway to my room at 10.43am, right when I had her. There was no time for any pain relief other than gas. Yep, it hurt! But I have my beautiful girl now and she's worth every single second of pain. x
