Default Need to know what size shoe for my 1 year old!

    Hi everyone!
My daughter turns 1 next week and do far have not found shoes to fit her (I bought the ones that say 9-12 months etc) but her feet seem to chubby for them all like the length looks fine! She isn't walking yet but standing all the time and walking while holding onto things!
Anyway i am looking online and want to buy her some shoes but have no idea what size she is? Lol
What is the average size for a 1 year old?

I'm not sure there is an average size shoe for a one year old. I went to a kid's shoe shop and had my son fitted, to make sure there was enough length and width in the shoe. I think it is important to have your daughter fitted in a proper pair of shoes, for example soft-soled if she is newly walking, as ill-fitting shoes can cause serious issues to developing feet.

I am yet to find shoes that my dd fits - her feet are too narrow, so they just fall
off. But the closest fit I've found is size 3, and she is 14 months. Tbh I really don't bother too much with shoes - her feet are still developing, and she needs to use her whole foot to balance whilst walking, so I just put her in socks, or thick socks outside.

My DS at 12 months was a size 4, he also had fat feet (DH calls them Fred Flinstone feet) he is now a size 6 at 17 months, I buy most of his shoes on line from the US , once you find a brand that fits well it's easier! ( ralphlauren.com or endless.com is where we get most of our shoes)

tip toey joey and baby paws are good first shoes for wider feet.

baby paws are very soft soles.

tip toey joeys have split soles to allow natural foot movement and development.

at 12mths i brought my DD2 size 12-18mths in tip toey joeys
