I think it's fine for a wedding... But I'm all for any excuse to buy a pretty new dress

I agree with PPs about the accessories, bling it up and it will look great

What have you done to your toe?

I think it's beautiful and like PP have said you can always dress it up with strappy shoes and jewelery we went to a wedding the other week and i felt so over dressed! I wore a really nice dress that I love but the rest of the guests were really casual but i love dressing up cause i wear jeans and a shirt to work although since being UTD i've been making an effort cause work shirts don't fit

I think its a nice dress and will look great. I think it depends on what sort of wedding it is though as to if its dressy enough, did they include a dress code, is it day time or night time.
We had a formal/black tie dress code at my wedding so it probably wouldnt suit a wedding like that but i went to a cocktail type wedding 2 weeks ago and it would have been perfect

Also if it were me and i had to wear flats id wear something like this or maybe a wedge shoe if you can wear them
Id also wear gold accessories, maybe some chunky gold bangles or a cuff, a nice cocktail ring and probably a gold clutch.
I really think you should go metallic accesories with it as i think black would look to plain

Ahhhh.. I feel so much better. I have a black dress but I think it's a little fancy for the wedding we're going to. The ceremony will be held in a little garden and then we'll head to the reception.
Dress code is fabulous frocks.. = /
I'm going to search for some nice flats and I'll accessorize. Times like these I'd rather be a man.
