In November 2010 my dh was diagnosed with testicular cancer at 30 years of age. He had surgery and thankfully the tumour was slow growing and he needed no chemo. He has fully recovered
Every 6 months (which is today) my dh has scans and check ups and I like to use these appointments to remind everyone I know about testicular cancer and self examination.
Testicular cancer is a young mans disease typically affecting 25-35 year olds. Please remind your husbands fathers brothers and friends. We all know men aren't the most pro active with their health as a general rule, sometimes they need reminding. Thankfully my dh was "on the ball" hehe sorry for the pun!!
Spread the word please
