Default Pcos, provera and First Response "white line"

I have been diagnosed with PCOS and was put on provera in January/2012 to start my period since i didn't get one in december of last yr. They are 10mg that i take for 10 days around the same time every month. In January i took them from the 7th-16th and started on the 8th day on them i got a normal period a bit heavy but i got one that lasted 3-4 days.In February i didn't get one i took them from the 1st-10th and on the 16th i had some minimal spotting definitely not normal. This month i started them again on the 1st-10th it is now the11th day after stopping my 10 day provera dose and i still haven't gotten my period pregnancy tests have been negative untill this morning i used a First Response Pregnancy test and as the liquid passed through the test there was a bright white line that appeared but faded as the test dried then the line was light pink once it dried. What am i supposed to think ?

    Hi duckie,

I would probably head off to the GP for a blood test. I any imagine provera is very good if you are UTD?

I have experienced white evap lines on a packet of FRER- it was like there was a dodgy bunch going around. They all had those white lines you describe- however they never dried pink. Have you tried a digital test?

I don't know about the med's or pcos but I have had that white line before. It's a faulty test. I would go buy a new box of tests and throw the ones you have out.

I've heard the white line sometimes means you've over saturated the test and is negative.

But then you hear stories online of women getting white lines and then they test a few days later and it turns pink..
