absolutely! I have the worst memory ever, but still remember elizabeth borrowing jessica's tuxedo jacket in the very first book... i was even hoping to turn my own name into a joint homage to the twins one day lol (hasn't happened yet). There is a photo of me at maybe 11 laying on my bed, teddies and dolls all around, reading SVH "All night long" what was my mother thinking???

    Something different, like Elephant.
Then I read a book and fell in love with Anastasia, until a new girl came to my school with that name, and she was a terror. I switched to Margareet for a time, and was interested in Michaela as well, but neither of those two quite felt right, they were just fillers.
And there were several years when I had my heart set on Jamie and Amy. My brothers name and my name rhyme so I thought it was normal.

Finally, I fell in love with Marie (drawn from Maria in Westside Story) but had that chalked down for my first daughters middle name, and my second daughters first name was to be Jasmine. I also adored Kitty Sulivan from The Sulivans, but feared Kitty wasn't sufficent for a name - but could be a nickname.

When we named DD1, we chose a first name that could be abbreviated to Kitty, then never did - abbreviating to Katie instead. Her middle name was Marie also, that was set in stone.

When I was expecting DD2, we settled on Jasmine early, but Disney released the Aladin movie so we changed for a different name instead. She was nameless for the first week whilst we were trying to find a replacement name, since Jasmine was no longer suitable.

I always wanted to name a daughter Amelia, and I did - but I was quite keen on Claudia and Anastasia too.

I wanted Blane (Pretty in Pink) for a boy.
One of my fave movies ever!

I loved Lacey Taya - I think I got the the name from a show I use to watch.
Oh and I still love the name Torrance - Bring it on I love that movie.

Boys names were Lochlan sean I still love Lochlan and will prob use it for this bub if its a boy.

I used Lacey Taya on my cat when I was 16 and DH hates the name Torrance
