I never had any faith in gender swaying but now im quite curious. Ill have to check out dr shettles methods. Even tho we arebt ttc til.next summer. Have one of each now from ex. current partbers dad has four sons- I hope that doesnt mean partner is full of blue chromosomes. Id love another little girl and boy but we may stop after one so id love it to be a girl

Shettles' methods have been debunked recently. There's info on it at ingender.com. I can't find the original article that I saw, but it basically said that his idea that male sperm swam faster and straighter, and that female sperm were slow circle swimmers was proven to be incorrect, he made the assumption that the slow, circle swimmers were female because they were 'heavier' due to one extra chromosome.
Apparently that's not a deciding factor on whether a sperm is a slow circler or not, so the timing theory doesn't really work out.

The current idea is that you're better off trying to sway with diet. I don't exactly understand the science behind it, but if you look for gender swaying diets online it can give you an idea.

We swayed for a girl this time, I took calcium, magnesium, and cranberry supps because that's supposed to help sway for a girl. I guess I'll know in 18 weeks time if it worked or not .

ingender is a wealth of knowledge on the topic. i too am using diet and supps.
im also doing o+12 which seems to have better results than shettles.

last baby i used diet supps and shettles to sway but it didn't work.

"Choose the sex of your baby" by Hazel Chesterman-Phillips is better than Shettles. Same type of way, but more in depth and shows why it sometimes doesn't work and how to fix it.
