I have a 21 month old daughter from IVF (my son was conceived naturally 6 months after she was born.
I still have 2 frozen emby's in storage & I assume they are the same as dizygotic twins. So if we ever did use those embryo's technically would they be her twin but born years later?
Has anyone been in this situation & how do they consider the children i.e. similar to twins or it doesnt even cross their mind?
I would be interested to know in case we ever cross that bridge.

If you use more than one embryo are they twins?

Technically I would say no.
Twins (esp DZ) are really defined by being in the womb at the same time and being born on the same (or nearly!) day.
If it was a mono egg that split and then you could somehow put one on hold for a later date, then THAT would be interesting!
(Incidentally, it is said that DZ twins are no more genetically the same than normal brother and sister born years apart, so that in yourself is it's own answer)

Oh yeah I get your logic for sure, and if it wasn't for the DZ twins being no more genetically similar than normal brothers and sisters, I would have been right next to you, wondering the same thing
