My step-daughter in Hayley (5) and her nickname took a few interesting turns. I think Dad & Mum joked around with the german town named Hindenburg, that morphed into Hayles-burg, now she gets called Burger. It took me a while to 'get it', but it rolls off easily now. She has then made up nicknames for Dad=chips. So Burger & Chips do things together, I get Fish as Fish & Chips also go together. Her sister gets Nuggets, hhmmm not as flattering and hasn't quite taken off!
