Only certain places do it. There is 1 place in Townsville only, and it's $300 each. My car only had one in the middle so I had the other 2 put in for $600 the the bolts are about $12 each if the seat doesn't come with one.

Hmm not sure... But just a stab in the dark....
But - if there isn't one there already, it would be my guess that it shouldn't be added?

rta fitting stations do them in nsw. u know where u take your car seats to be correctly installed? or hire capsule from?
think it depends on the car. costs vary too. and its a big bar thing that goes across usually.
we had one put in an old landcruiser cost about300? friends had one put in a newer tarago cost 550

My dad has been looking at getting one put in so he can sometimes pick DD up from daycare. The quote he got (from an RACV fitting station I think) was about $300

Contact your transport authority as it needs to be done by an accredited person and req mod plate will need to be fitted.

I just thought - being a ute that if there's not a point there already.... It's not meant to have one? Therefore - no capsule/seat should be installed

Nevermind. Seems I've completely missed the point - sorry
