I am facing being a single parent of a 2.5yr old DD - I am interested in custody/visiting schedules that people currently have, especially involving 2-3yr olds. Ex is very capable and loving to DD. Ex will be living nearby.
THanks for your help, kimba80.

Hi, my DD is 2.5yrs, she goes to her dad Fri, Sat, Sun one week (sleeps there) and Fri-Sat the next. She copes well with this and it works well for us all :-)

My son is a bit older (4.5 yrs) but he has a sleepover at his dad's on a Tuesday night and a Saturday night (not always due to ex's work so it could be a Friday instead). My son doesn't cope with 2 nights in a row. FOB picks ds up at 1-2pm on the Saturday and brings him back at 10-11am the next day. On the Tuesday night he picks ds up from daycare at 5pm and brings him home at 8am the next day. At other times he might have ds for 2-3 hours for a play but that may only be once a week and when it suits the ex. I plan on making things a little more routine as it confuses ds and cuts into my time for myself and for our plans as son and mum.
