    Hello

Demeter here coming over from March ttc group because its the last day of March and I had a BFN today. I am only 9dpo so I do think it is too early but still it hasn't held me back from poas hehehe

So I am CD29 today and ff says I ov on CD20. I have had a few signs in the tww but I also had them last month heheheh. The only difference this month is that I have been temping and also I noticed I have had more creamy cm. Also my right nip is aching.

    for us all.

    Demeter

Nice to see some familiar faces in this thread! Well not nice that ya'll are over from the March thread though :-(

A little background on myself. Came off BC last month and had AF on the 23rd Feb. Have been waiting and waiting for AF to arrive as i thought my body may revert to the 28 day cycles i always have had before while off the pill. No such luck. I did a pg test and an OPK on Thursday and to my surprise the OPK was as positive as i think i am going to get! Did two more in the 8 hrs after that and they faded out - so hopefully i Oed in the last two days. Had a good temp rise this morning - way higher than i have had since i started temping - so i should be either 1DPO or 2DPO today. Either way - i am going to try to hold off testing until at least the 10th of April. Am due for next AF on the 14th or so FF says - so hopefully that is right. Now FXed that my temps stay well and truly up! Am actually quite excited now.... lol Just hope i don't O as late next cycle! It has been torture waiting all this time! LOL!

to all! Hopefully this month brings lots of BFP's to all!

Hi ladies, can I join please. Month 2 of TTC #2 with a short window for success as hubby is due to be away with the Navy for 5 months this year from 7 May. Fell quickly with DS so will be interesting to see how we go this time. Came off BC in Dec and have had 35, 30 and then 28 day cycles. Have had precancerous cells removed in a chunk from my cervix 12 months ago and CM has gone haywire. Rely on twinges and OPKs (although never got a really strong pos). Think I O'd Thursday so will be testing sometime over Easter probably.

    Baby dust to all.

    Here comes uber post!

    Akeastall –
Oh I'm sorry to hear about the PCOS Hopefully the pill does it, I had a friend who was in a similar situation and it took about 6 months of being on the pill but she went back to normal and has another 2 bubs under her belt (hanging from her belt?) now to show for it. Fingers crossed that happens for you too.

Tormy – Stay in April! I'm going to be stalking you until you get your bfp, you know that right? Lol. Is there a way your doc can get your cycle moving a bit more quickly? Some of the other ladies have mentioned a medication that can bump af forward so that you don't have to wait so long. Not sure what the deal with that is though.

Lilbub – Natural medicine can do AWESOME things for conception, I've lost count of how many people I've spoken to that have had acupuncture, or a series of natural herbs that have helped them to conceive. It's a lot less invasive too.

Sjay – Thanks, that would be awesome! No way do I want to risk this little bug. I haven't taken any painkillers for the last couple of days but I can tell that I'm going to be having quite a few tummy troubles in the next couple of weeks if it keeps going like this. Obviously I'll get my doctor to make an official recommendation but coming from someone with experience that's actually SEEN the problems, well... Sometimes GP recommendations aren't as informed as an EMT.

MyLittleStar – Don't worry just yet, at 7dpo the only symptom that I had was a bit of tiredness, sore boobs, and that was about it, which is the grand total of what I experience close to af so technically I wasn't experiencing anything to be suspicious about .

Lulubellsmumma – I had a UTI from 3dpo to 5dpo, apparently it's a pretty common symptom. Ok so I'm not saying it's a definite symptom, but I've been told by a doctor that it's not unusual . I'm a poas fanatic and symptom spotter extraordinaire. Pretty sure if I hadn't gotten a bfp yesterday I'd have lost my mind!

Grumpy – Awww boo BUT... Don't forget that a drop can happen because of something else as well. You might have had half of your body uncovered before you woke up and the af symptoms are just preg symptoms. My symptoms have been mostly af symptoms so I wouldn't have known the difference except for the test!

Demeter – 9dpo is early, but I started using poas sticks at about 5dpo so... Ya know... Rofl! Also, how bizarre that just your right nipple has been aching! That's freaky. I had a bit of creamy cm increasing around about 5dpo too. Fingers crossed!

Suzi – You have the patience of a saint. I can NOT restrain myself from testing. I tried! Really hard. And I kept making promises that I wouldn't. But I just HAD to know the very second I could. I couldn't even wait until tomorrow!

Kpet – Welcome to the nuthouse . That surgery sounds like a doozy, my sister went through something similar not that long ago and it wasn't too fun from what she told me. Here's hoping for an Easter bub for you.

AFM, I went to get blood taken today at the docs and will be picking up my results on Monday. But I couldn't resist, I got another pack of frers because I wanted to make sure that I didn't get a false positive. Talk about paranoid . Anyway, it's quite a bit darker than yesterdays (even though it was midday and my third bathroom trip for the day).

The bottom picture is yesterdays (can't really see the line in it though because my camera isn't so great) and the top one is today's. Obviously much darker than yesterdays . I can see it when I hold it out at arms length very easily, so I'm not even classing it as faint anymore *chuckle*.

But if you ladies don't mind I'll hang around to keep tabs on you all, like Kyls I've grown attached to you all now and I can't wait to see everyone getting their bfps .

    Hi Ladies
So its morning here and woke up to brown CM this is a sure sign AF is about to arrive. I didn't want to waste a test and be disappointed so will wait and see what tomorrow holds. I know that you can be pg and get brown cm around af time but I just don't feel pg at all

So I will let u all know tomorrow what the verdict is... If I do not have af in full swing and still brown cm then I will test!

Thanks for the support ladies, awesome to have u guys xxx

Eko, today's test is much darker hooray!!
I went to a doc before Xmas with severe back pain and told him we were ttc. He prescribed panadiene forte and said to avoid ibuprofen, so nurofen which I used to take. Apparently it can affect implantation.

Jelly, fx af stays away for you!!

Eko - DP just explained to me that I got the story wrong and that it's just nurofen and that panadol/panadeine/codeine is okay
Please don't take my word for gospel though and im sorry if I freaked you, but I had a bit of a panic attack when he was telling me!
You should be fine though and definitely talk to your gp if you're still concerned.

AFM: currently CD13, still BD every 2nd night and waiting, waiting, waiting for a pos OPK! Should O around CD16 though so hopefully everything is going to plan ahaha!

@Tormy- they are certainly getting darker! Hooray! @Eko, glad to see the bfp getting darker. @JellyTot- fx af isn't coming. Afm- cd 8 and dh has agreed to smep, as long as I agree to throw in some of his 'favourite warm up activities Tonight however I seem to have an upset stomach, which is mase worse by the fact I had salami for lunch.
