Hi I am new here, I thought this thread might suit me best as ive had a few miscarriages and Just recently decided to try again. I have an appointment to see my gp in a week and a half which is around the time I think I'm ovulating (sorry haven't learnt all the forum terminology yet) so I probably shouldn't try this month as she will want to refer me to a gyno (and he playfully said after the last miscarriages he didn't ever want to see me again ) or maybe I will have to be referred to FS. I could be waiting a very long time. I'm sure all they wanted to do if I ever decided to try again was to start me on clexane as soon as I got a bfp or even beforehand.
I have insulin resistance / pcos and have had 2 healthy children consecutively in between 7 losses, making it difficult to diagnose the reason for them.
We had chromosomal testing and all sorts of blood work which I'm going to study up on before my gp appointment as I forget exactly which tests I've had. All the information on here is wonderful. I wish I knew about this earlier as I could have pushed for a lot more with my doctors.
The more I look back on my losses they are not really the same. I had 2 early losses 6 and 8 weeks before my kids were born and then a blighted ovum, 8 week and 10 week losses, then an ectopic and then a later loss at around 13 weeks but didn't know until 16 weeks( I think that what they all were) I really need to go through my history thoroughly with my doctor. I remember seeing missing heartbeat on the monitor more times than I care to remember anyway.
well I'm excited as we thought we were done trying (the last was 3 or more years ago) but at the same time wondering what the hell we are thinking putting ourselves through this most stressful process again, glad I have found other woman on here that i could confide in that will understand what I'm going through. Thanks for reading my story, hope to get to know all of you! Twinx
