Sorry to hear NicM. The friends who tell you to enjoy your time now really have no clue what it feels like to want to be a Mum. The thing I hated most was walking down the street and seeing the mother with 4 kids in tow (1 in a pram), all were dirty, half with no shoes on and the mother has a cigarette hanging out her mouth. Those were the times I wondered what was wrong with me.
Congrats Stretched! I'm sorry I haven't really had too much time to read back through all the previous posts so I'm just catching up. I was born and raised in Canada and I can tell you I have no desire to live with snow on a daily basis. It's fun to play in though.
All the best with the naturopaths!

CDNinOZ - Yeah, I know what you mean. Though to be fair to my friend, she wasn't telling me to enjoy life without the baby, more so, enjoy not getting AF while it lasts, but even she does agree that coming on to 18 weeks is too long. I have never looked forward to a Gyn appointment as much as I do now.

Stretched I am so happy to hear things are going well for you not long till the 30th and you will be able to relax alot more. I know this is going to sound strange but I am glad you feel like crap , that way you know things are coming along nicely.

Del good luck with the naturopath, a detox sounds good. i was really naughty on the weekend and ate some naughty food but i have been feeling pretty grumpy lately so it helped.
AFm I weighed myself on Sat and i have lost 14 kg in total so I have about 7 to go but I'll see how I feel when i get there. Thyroid tablets have made no change so i am having a blood test next week to check levels and increase my dose.
