So as the titles suggests I have a question about Mother's day.
So I don't have my own real life bubba but I was pregnant and he was my baby and I gave him a name so I feel like a mother and now he is gone but he lives on in my heart and I miss him every single day so do I get to celebrate Mother's day?
DH asked me if I wanted a present and I said no. Now I wish I had said yes. Actually scrap that. I don't want a present. I just want a card from my baby. Just a card that tells me he loves me as much as I love him. A card that tells me he wishes he was here as much as I wish he was. A card that shows me he knows I am his mumma.
I would have been 22 weeks today. I would have been able to feel him move and see him within that baby bump.
I think I just answered my own question ... I am a mumma. I am your mumma Noah, and from the depths of my heart, I love you. So this Mothers Day, I will celebrate that I am a mumma
That's what I wrote so to answer your question, yes you can celebrate Mothers Day because you are a mother. Boost said something that stuck with me. You are a mother the moment you get your BFP. She's so right! You are a mother and a beautiful one at that!
Lilmuffin, I had seen that poem before and it made me bawl then, and it made me bawl now. Last night, DH and I were talking and he said "IS this really how you want your first Mothers Day to be?" I don't think he understands that it's not a choice I made, I am a mother so how can I not say this is my first Mother Day?. I understand what he is saying. He doesn't want my first mothers day to be without a baby in my arms, but that's ok. My baby is in my heart so how can I not acknowledge that?
So here's to the mothers that have children earth bound and the rest of us who have our babies in heaven .. Happy Mothers Day to all of us!

That is beautiful lilmuffin I was crying reading that, your post too ftm. DP hasn't said anything about it, I don't think he understands the bond that baby & I had developed.

Good luck Boost, hope those 2 lines appear for you I'm not sure I'll even test tomorrow. Just resigned to AF coming in 3 or 4 days. Wish she would just hurry up and be done with it so I can move onto the next cycle.

Another BFN at 12 DPO no more testing now and just waiting for AF to arrive. Probably won't be on much over the next few weeks. There seems to be a spate of 'can you see the faint line' threads lately and it just makes not getting the line so much worse.
Hope everyone has a good mother's day and your partners do something nice for you. See you all in a while
