Glad she settled in the end. Crying is so draining for bubbas and parents alike!
My ds had silent reflux and would scream for hours on end. There are were nights when he was crying hysterically for 2 - 3 hours straight without a break at all. I remember sitting there helpless wondering what on earth to do. We got a bit desensitised to it though. I remember seeing his paed when he was over 6 months old and we mentioned that he'd cried for 3 hours straight one night recently and the paed said we should have considered taking him to hospital to get checked out. I suppose he was past the initial 3 months when his reflux was at it's worst and 3 hours of extreme crying could be something other than reflux and deserved to be checked out.
