It's a b!tch to get in the back of the barina though.

$180, with changing mat, little pursery thingy and bottle/dummy holder. I looovved it, unfortunately I retired it when my senile cat thought it looked a lot like its kitty litter and it never retunred to its former unsmelly glory. It was also a bag that I took to work, used on weekends etc because it looked like a handbag I would use before I had child.

I will probably spend that this time around aswell, but maybe not on something specifically branded 'nappy' bag just a bag big enough for all my junk (oh and babies!).

Totally agree-- mine sits in the garage looking lovely. Can't even pick it up at the moment in my pregnancy-- weighs as much as a Strider! I have to say I think it will go to Ebay soon as all it does it sit around looking lovely.

Seriously though, I've no doubt that some cheaper bags function as well as pricier bags, I just can't believe that someone would flame others for spending more. It's like going on the Vogue forums and abusing them for owning so many shoes. Different horses for different courses and I like accessorising my bags with my shoes and prams. Il Tutto are great quality, and so is Vanchi-- one of my friends have a bag of theirs that is 10 years old, she still uses it as a handbag now and it looks fab! Apparently it was pricey at the time but it has lasted the test of ages.

Thought i would post a pic of mine i'm just so in love with it and EBAY is wonderful i was one of only two bidders and it got to my highest bid of $110 including postage, was here in three days and perfect. Also liked that if DH takes him out he won't have a girly looking bag to lug around

I don't have one yet as I'm TTC. But I'll be buying a Mimco or Il Tutto nappy bag (so between $250-$450). I love them, they look great as well as do what they need to

As long as its what you like it shouldn't matter if you spend $10 or $500.

I have loads of Mimco, Witchery etc handbags so I want a nice looking nappy bag too (when the time comes). I can afford to spend the money on it so why not?

I don't think anyone was saying they are a better mother because they spent more on a nappy bag. They just said they like having nice things to go with the rest of their nice things. Everyone is different and has different tastes.

I don't buy brand handbags because they are expensive and I want to show off. I buy them because I like the look of them and think they are worth it as they last a long time. Same will go for a nappy bag when I buy one.

OP - spend whatever you are happy to spend. As long as you like it and it functions how you want it doesn't matter how much it costs.

Is spending $400 on one nappy bag worse then spending between $20 - $100 on over 6 nappy bags and still not finding one your happy with. If so charge me... I'm guilty. Really though, it's each to their own - if you can afford it, why not. If you can't then don't pick on the ppl that can. That's all.
