I have just moved house ..and oh my..it was a nightmare.
We had organised to get removalists, as we always do.
But...DH's best friend told DH that he should not get them and he would help...I begged DH to get removalists...but no he said no.
So it was booked for today.
On friday, DH's bestie called and said I am so sorry, I can only help for 3 hours as my wife has just organised a 1st birthday party for DD.
Um..ok..You knew we were moving...
So then this morning, he calls and says..sorry i am sick and cannot help...
so we were left up poo creek..
we ended up with 4 friends thanks to facebook!!!
But it was a nightmare..but we are all in and the place look s like a bomb hit it!
The kids spent 2 hours in a pool that is freezing...
I am sore and in the worst mood in the universe...
so just came in for a vent and release..
Thank you for listening.

As if moving house isn't a nightmare as it is you have added stress! I feel for you, I can not stand having to pack and unpack...it's always worth it but actually having to do it blergh!

Well, if there are any moves in future you will be able to pull this anecdote out of your arsenal to veto any silly suggestions. Sorry it was such a stress...hope you settle in quickly and can enjoy your new home.
I hope *The Chair* has a lovely home.
