What would you consider a reasonable time in the morning for kids to knock on the front door or call out at the window?

On a weekend anytime after 10.30am.
During holidays, probably 10.

Lol hmmm I used to go next door at like 8! And she's still my best friend 22yrs later!
However I was part of the family so to speak. I wouldn't let my kids out to play till probs 9:30

I tell them 7.30 to give dd time to have a shower, get dressed, have breakfast, make bed, all that morning stuff, but I find myself saying "it's too early, come back at 7.30" for about an hour, sometimes more. We are up at 5, but if dd has breakfast too much before 7 it throws out her day for some reason.

After 9 ... I like my breakfast in peace and not having someone elses kids sitting there watching!
